I think the point everyone seems to be missing is...this communication had to come from one of the CSM's--
It SHOULD have come from CCP on these forums.
I know it takes time to draft, but I thought the meeting was about "opening communication lines". One would think a quick, "We are working ont he translations and CCP statements regarding the matter and will have the CSM results DevBlog to you ASAP."
This entire issue came about because of a lack of communication with the players.

I know these things take time and couldn't care less...the lack of communication is an ongoing problem that I would of hoped they'd of "gotten" by now.

The CSM communication to the players wasn't the concern that started the entire fiasco....their own communication was.

Exactly...but a clear statement from CCP on this fact IS precisely what was needed to keep this bullcrap from starting again. Thus, my concern...aka, I don't think they "get it" yet.

Agreed, but this thread isn't about that. It's about a lack of communication direct from CCP concerning the time to get it "perfect".
Communication was the precipitating issue...they shoudl of made a post here along the lines of what I stated above.

And OP being butthurt about whether CCP or CSM announced something to him is kinda funny, but who cares? If he's dumb enough to think this problem was caused by 'miscommunication' then there's no helping him.

This isn't about hating. I've been firmly on the side of the anti-protest group out there.
It's about "doing it right" so I don't have to listen to 10 days of BS all over again next time.
The first step to that is having better communication from them. I want a perfect statement and know that takes some time.
BUT, I want to be assured that it's being worked on by someone such as Fallout who gets paid to communicate with the playerbase.

I wish you would of made this post hours ago, when the meeting was over though. The protesters and "tin-foil" hat people have already worked themselves into a frenzy over this, so I fear, yet again, it may be too late to keep the forum BS down...or save the Jita stautue :P
